The Art of the Dream

Introduction

The art of the dream isn't a skill or talent. It's not something that you are born with. The art of the dream is something everyone has inside them from the moment they're born. It's your drive, purpose and passion for life. And it's what will make all those long nights worthwhile when you finally see your dreams come true in front of your eyes.

Have your why

The first step to building a life of dreams is understanding your why.

Your why is the single most powerful tool you have for achieving your dreams, because it gives you something to hold onto when times get tough. Knowing your why will help you stay focused, keep going when things get hard and help you achieve your goals quicker than if you didn't know why. For example, if I was tired of my job and wanted out but didn't have any other prospects lined up yet, I would tell myself “I'm doing this because I want more money in my life” or “I'm doing this so that my boss will respect me more and give me a raise".

If our why isn’t connected with our heart then we won’t be fully committed 100% of the time which means we won’t really see any results from our actions or efforts on their own accord without constant pestering from others such as family members who are constantly asking us how things are going at work or even friends who know nothing about what we do yet still ask us if they can borrow money every few months just like last time so yeah maybe someday soon but not now...

Find your path

You have a unique path to follow. You may not realize it yet, but your purpose in life is waiting for you to discover it. If you’re like me, you might be thinking “I don’t know what my passion is or how I can use my strengths and weaknesses to find that purpose? That sounds daunting!”

Don’t worry! This entire book will help guide you on your journey of self-discovery and give you the tools necessary to achieve your goals in life. But first things first: we need to figure out who we are before we can begin our journey as artists (and humans).

Stay strong

In order to realize your dreams, you must stay strong. You must stay focused. You must stay motivated and inspired. You must be determined not just to see your dream come true but also to make it happen in the most effective way possible. You are patient with yourself and others so that when things don’t go as planned, you can keep a positive attitude and continue working toward the goal at hand—even if it takes longer than expected or seems impossible at times. Along the way, you will feel humble about how far you have come while being grateful for every step forward made in attaining your goal; this will keep you accountable for both failures and successes along the journey toward realizing your dream as well as keeping up morale among those who support it with you. Most importantly though (and perhaps most difficult), is remaining disciplined throughout all aspects of staying true to one’s dreams: staying healthy by eating right; setting aside time daily or weekly for exercise; sleeping enough hours every night; drinking lots of water every day (especially if working out); etc.; so that nothing interferes with achieving one’s goals on schedule!

This list could go on forever but suffice it say this: To achieve success with anything we do requires hard work from us first—this includes pursuing our dreams!

Take it day by day

The first and most important step to helping you achieve your dreams is to take it one day at a time. That's it! Nothing else matters in this moment but that single day, because if you're living in the present, then everything else will fall into place.

If you're worrying about what's going to happen tomorrow or next week, then the only thing you have left is today—and if you spend all of your energy worrying about something that hasn't happened yet, then there won't be any energy left over for enjoying today. So stop worrying! Just focus on enjoying right now instead of stressing out about what could possibly happen later. Living in the present is easy once we learn how and why we should do so:

  • The past has already been lived through; we can't change it anymore than we can go back in time and undo an event from happening (and even if we could do so, why would anyone want their life erased?). The only thing worth learning from our past mistakes or successes is how they'll help us become better versions of ourselves moving forward.*

  • We cannot control anything outside our own minds—but when we shift our focus inward and start changing ourselves for the better instead of trying hopelessly hard at changing external circumstances beyond our reach (i

Keep the faith

Let's look at faith as a choice. Faith is when you decide to believe something and act upon it. It's like saying, "I believe that there's something better for me out there," and then putting your money where your mouth is by going out and finding it. But being able to choose what to believe in isn't enough—you have to open yourself up so that the world can come into you. In other words, you've got to be receptive to whatever happens next; otherwise, you'll miss out on all kinds of good things happening around you right now!

Another way of looking at faith is as an action (rather than just a belief). This might seem like stating the obvious—but there's a difference between knowing something intellectually and actually doing it! For example: I know how important exercise is for my health...but if I never go running because I'm too busy watching TV or playing video games instead, am I really making my best effort? Or am I just talking myself into believing this whole "exercise" thing will magically happen someday soon?

Don't give up

Don't give up on your dreams.

Don't give up on yourself.

Don't give up on your family, friends and goals.

Don't give up on faith or health either--because they're all connected to your ability to dream in the first place!

Dream big, never give up!

I believe that the key to achieving your dreams is to dream big!

Don't let anyone tell you that it's impossible. If you put your mind to it, you can do anything!

Focus on the positive and don't get distracted by the negative thoughts in your head. Be creative, stay strong and never give up! Love what you do and be passionate about it because this will allow for a positive mindset which ultimately leads to success. You have faith in yourself and your abilities so why not have faith in others?

Conclusion

The art of the dream is all about following your heart and going after what you want. It’s about taking a leap of faith, believing in yourself and others, making mistakes and learning from them—all without letting fear get in the way.
